This book consists of a series of interviews about Warhol with his associates and friends recorded by John Wilcock over the course of five years in the late 60s and presented, very lightly edited, in this compendium. Wilcock was a British journalist and co-founder of the Village Voice whose column was staple therein from 1955-1965, when he left to edit The East Village Other. Charles Henri Ford, Nico, Gerard Malanga, Paul Morrissey, Marisol, Taylor Mead, Brigid Polk, David Bourdon, Lou Reed and Leo Castelli are among those interviewed.
